Another World Is Possible Fund
We are living through a moment that calls for deep solidarity, interdependence and radical generosity, a moment that requires us to claim our power to make the world we know is possible.
This is why Chinook Fund and Transformative Leadership for Change (TLC) have partnered to create the Another World is Possible Fund. Originally launched in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Another World is Possible Fund is a vehicle to direct resources for crisis response and emergent needs in the short-term and organizational sustainability and resilience in the long-term.

We have raised and distributed nearly $1.1 million to over 100 grassroots organizations.
Chinook Fund and Transformative Leadership for Change are two complementary capacity-building organizations in the Colorado progressive ecosystem, partnering together in the spirit of abundance, interdependence and mutual aid to raise resources for those who are forging the path to the world we believe is possible. Since the fund’s inception, we have raised and distributed nearly $1.1 million to over 100 grassroots organizations.
In the current political climate, organizations dedicated to progressive social change and defending the lives of the most marginalized communities are facing unprecedented challenges and threats.
These organizations and their leaders, who are on the frontlines of upholding democracy, are facing a backlash of censorship, political repression, and divestment. Organizations in our local Colorado ecosystem have already faced funding cuts due to their stance on protecting the human rights of targeted communities.

This is why we are inviting you—activists, supporters, donors, funders and philanthropic leaders—to join us in reactivating this fund to sustain grassroots leaders and organizations who need our support! The Another World is Possible Fund will continue to be a lifeline of rapid response support to help organizations weather the storms we are in, while also providing healing and care to sustain leaders on the frontlines.
