In this spirit, we work to resource our communities through reparations, land back, and wealth reclamation and redistribution in hopes of promoting new economic systems rooted in healing, care, justice, regeneration, and solidarity. ShopBIPOC is an effort of wealth redistribution and a deep practice of solidarity.
One of our core wealth reclamation initiatives is supporting a local, collective economy of BIPOC-owned and values-aligned businesses whenever possible.
We are a proud founding partner of ShopBIPOC.com, a collaborative effort of 14 community organizations to highlight locally owned BIPOC businesses in Colorado across diverse industries through this online directory.
ShopBIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People Of Color) is a website designed to connect consumers who intentionally want to purchase and retain services from BIPOC-owned businesses with those businesses, and to allow BIPOC-owned businesses to expand their markets.
Buying from BIPOC-owned businesses is a direct and tangible way to align our everyday actions as consumers with our commitments to racial equity and closing the racial wealth gap.
